The Pahiyas celebrated every 15th of May is a special event in Lucban,
Quezon. It is a farmers' thanksgiving festival in commemoration with
Patron Saint San Isidro Labrador. The decors adorning the houses such as
kiping leaves are hung as pabitin (chandeliers). Kiping is made of colored rice, flour paste which are pressed on leaves then dried.
